Privacy Policy

AcornRetain is a product of PerfSpot LLC.

AcornRetain helps subscription businesses run a cancellation flow. This policy covers two kinds of data: information about you, our customer, and information we handle on your behalf about your own subscribers when they go through a cancel flow.

What we collect

  • Your email, used to sign in to the dashboard.
  • Your account and configuration, such as your cancel-flow setup and offers.
  • Your billing-provider connection, stored encrypted, so we can apply the changes you configure.
  • Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps).
  • Error telemetry, so we can find and fix problems.

Data you process through AcornRetain about your own customers

When your subscriber goes through a cancel flow, we process data on your behalf: their billing-provider customer identifier, the survey answers they give, which offer they saw, and the outcome. We act as a processor for this data. It belongs to you, we use it only to provide the service to you, and we do not use it for our own purposes.

Signing in with Google

If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and Google account identifier, and we use them only to create and secure your AcornRetain account. We request only your basic profile and email. We never request access to Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Contacts, or any other Google service.

We do not sell this information, we do not share it with third parties for advertising, and we do not use it to train AI models. AcornRetain's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can revoke AcornRetain's access at any time from your Google Account permissions page.

What we share

  • Your connected Stripe account, which we call to apply the changes you configure.
  • Sub-processors who handle data on our behalf under their own terms: our hosting, database, email, and error-monitoring providers.

We do not sell your data, and we do not run advertising trackers or use your data to train AI models.

Cookies

We use first-party cookies for sign-in sessions and dashboard state. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Your choices

You can delete your account and its data from inside the dashboard. For requests we cannot handle from the product, use our contact page.

Email communications

When you create an account, you will receive transactional emails (login codes, billing, account information, material service changes) and occasional product updates about AcornRetain. You can opt out of product updates at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or from your account settings. Transactional emails are required to use the service and cannot be opted out of while your account is active. We do not share your email address with third parties for their own marketing, and we do not use your email to market our other products without your separate explicit consent.

Children's data

The service is not intended for anyone under 13 (or 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Where we operate

We operate from the United States. By using the service you acknowledge your data is processed in the US.
